It is thus 'binder-less' technology product resulting in 100% natural eco-friendly, pollution-free solid fuel. Biomass briquettes are a renewable source of energy and avoid adding fossil carbon to the atmosphere.

Burning a biomass briquette is far more efficient than burning FO, firewood or coal because it provides more calorific value/kg and save great amount on boiler fuel costs and at the same time it is POLLUTION FREE AND ECO-FRIENDLY FUEL.
The Calorific Value (GCV) of the bio-coal is 3900+ KCal/Kg. Moisture content of a briquette can be as low as 4%, whereas green firewood may be as high as 55%.Biocoal has high density around 1000 Kg/M? which saves transport costs and space in storage. A very low moisture and ash content around 8% makes briquette preferable solid fuel. Due to the vast availability and constant generation of agricultural wastes, supply of briquettes can be easily available through the year with desired quantity.

Bio waste material such as rice husk, wheat straw, maize stalks and peanut shell as well as sawdust, saw shavings and wood chips can be produced into briquette under high pressure until the lignin softens and binds the material together by the briquette machine. The use of compression technology increases the bulk density of raw materials and results in lower transportation costs, reduces storage volume and easier handling.
